hello, good morning, how do you do

Welcome to my livejournal! I'm always up for new people and new friends, especially now that I've gotten a bit better at actually keeping up with this livejournal, so feel free to read on and see if we might get along :-)
I'm 19 and a creative writing major. The plan, for now, is to finish undergrad and then pursue an MFA, so I can write and also teach college fiction classes. It's a sign of how much I've changed in the last two years that I'm going for this dream, instead of planning for a monetarily sound future as a web editor or something. I couldn't be more excited.
I might be one of those crazy Christians your mom warned you about, but don't let that scare you off! I'm definitely more of a think-out-loud-er than a try-to-convince-er. There are so many parts of my faith that really don't come easy to me, but I know if Jesus' blood has never failed me yet there will never come a time, so I won't turn my back on him.
I'm in love with this really great boy who is my best friend, and he does tend to pop up a lot in most aspects of my life, including this journal. I'm really not a girly girl, and he doesn't tend to pop up in public entries, but if you want to be friends and you find yourself nauseated by that kind of thing, consider yourself forewarned.
I tend to get really passionate and excited about things that could be considered silly or minor - decisions made by favorite bands, tiny moments in episodes of TV shows, that kind of thing. I'm also a big fan of exploring conspiracy theories, though almost always as a sort of joke. But if you're already rolling your eyes...again, you're forewarned. ;-)
I guess those are the salient points. If you're not already bored, see my interests for more and let's get to know each other! Thanks for stopping by!
