Tiny little Who update!

1. I loved The Beast Below. Yes, there are complaints to be made gee, did anyone else see that tiny crack at the end? but overall I thought it was a really strong episode. It made me like Eleven lots more than I did before, and Amy remains really wonderful. Liz X was eh, but only because she wasn't allowed enough time, I think. Creepy stuff was great. Just lots of components that are wonderful things about Doctor Who. Winston Churchill this week! And an episode not written by Moffat! Lovely!

2. Today my friends Danielle and Rachael from down the hall came in to chat, and we ended up having an hour-or-so-long talk about my admittedly kind of scary Doctor Who love. I ended up declaring Story Time With Catey, and telling them the basic premise of each season, while holding up the corresponding DVD set. They sat on the floor and everything. Rachael is now convinced that she must watch and love the show. QUITE RIGHT, TOO. I also showed them about the last four minutes of Doomsday. Cruel, I know. But it's important to know what you're getting into before you start this thing! It's emotionally draining!

3. Danielle, Rachael and I also discussed the following scenario: When Kyle and I are a rich-and-famous musician and novelist, I'm going to have a separate (small) room in our grand house just for Doctor Who. Guys, I laughed so hard during this conversation (which was a couple hours ago) that my stomach still hurts a tiny bit.
