Jul. 21st, 2009 12:39 pmFirst of all, I want to apologize for how awful the last voicepost was. I'm not even going to re-label it; I'm hoping it will just go ignored and get lost in the shuffle. Sigh.
So...Matt Smith. (if you don't know who that is, skip this paragraph.) What to say, what to say. I've been trying to give him a fair shot, trying not to judge before I see him in action, but I think in light of recent news I'm going to go ahead and submit the belief that I won't be clogging up my 15 icon spaces with his face. I mean, alright, I thought the outfit was kind of cute when I first saw it. Because, honestly, it is pretty cute! But then I remembered that he's supposed to be Doctor Who, and Doctor Who is supposed to be this incredible person who saved the universe, and I was like, are you kidding me? :-\ But then, I guess David's outfit doesn't scream I Am Amazing either, if you really step back to think about it. But David's persona does! And Matt's so far doesn't seem to. But that's enough Matt-bashing, because I do love Steve Moffat and if he thinks the whole thing is going to work I just have to accept that. Because Steve wouldn't let me down. Right? RIGHT!?...
Honestly, I just want to pretend that season 2 is still going on. Forever. Why is the second season of every show always the best? (Think about it. It's true in almost every case.)

Isn't it pretty? :-D It's kind of just a matter of when we'll have the money to get it, at this point. I've only got a couple hundred at the mo, and Mom and Dad said they'd meet me halfway but I don't have half yet, haha. And I don't actually think they do either. So...we'll see. I've been blessed at the moment to have enough time with the family laptop to post an update, because Phil is off doing something or other and not playing his silly game.
I have a date tomorrow :-D Actually I pretty much have dates all the time I guess, but I have a real wear-a-dress-and-go-to-Ruby-Tuesday date tomorrow. I'm real excited. Heee. Kyle's the best. I really recommend dating your best friend, you guys. (Not that if you have one you should rush out and date them, but that I like the idea better than just dating someone you meet at a party or something.)
Alright, I've got about 25 minutes to eat and throw on some makeup and get out the door for work. Bye!
